AVALONE ATTITUDE

  

 

AVALONEは、3年前から小さな自社工場を運営しています。

デザイナー自ら裁断も行い、キャリア48年の職人1名と、キャリア6年の職人1名が縫製を担当し、サンプルから量産までをほぼ自社で生産しています。

SS21より全ての型数ではないのですが、ミニマム生産、つまり自分達がリリースしたい量だけを生産し、
そのアイテムにはシリアルナンバーを入れていきます。
自給自足のように、必要な物を必要な分だけ生産する仕組みを構築していきます。
これはデザイナーが通ってきたサブカルチャーの中にあるDIY精神が影響しています。
AVALONEは誰にも拘束されず、インディペンデント精神を貫く姿勢を理想としています。

We, Avalone team set up our own cozy factory three years ago, in which almost all the process of creating garments is completed; from trying out a pre-production prototype to going into production. First, Susumu cuts the clothes,then they are moved into being sewn by two tailors ,with the career of forty eight years and six years.
From the ss21 collection, we are going to minimize the production quantity,restrict the amount of clothes we want to produce,if not all of them.  And we will assign serial numbers.
We are eager to maintain the method;creating as much as needed. (As we seek self‐sufficient lifestyles all the more because we live in the industrialized society full of waste.)
This would be the introspection of the conception of DIY, Susumu has experienced in the world of subclutures.
