Mikiko, with 55 years of experience as a sewing craftsperson, Mikiko is truly the heart of the AVALONE Factory. She did not build her career as a line sewer in a production facility; instead, she honed her craft as a sample maker — a path that requires mastering every step of garment construction. Because of this background, she is an all-around artisan who can build clothing from the ground up. Mikiko is one of those rare veterans who can work with virtually any material, yet still pursues her craft with genuine curiosity and a desire to keep learning. It is no exaggeration to say that AVALONE exists thanks to her hands, her skill, and her unwavering dedication.
